Biography

My introduction to jiu-jitsu started in 1995 when I rented UFC 1(which was in VHS tapes) from my local video store.  After watching Royce Gracie submit all four of his opponents with ease in one night.  I knew that it was the art I had to learn. My actual jiu-jitsu training started in 2001 under Machado Jiu-jitsu in Arlington for about 6months.  Due to life’s circumstances and events, took a break from training.  Started training again at Genesis Jiu-jitsu in July of 2010 and have been there ever since.  Earned my Blackbelt in Dec. of 2018 from Albert Hughes of Genesis Jiu-jitsu.  After receiving my Blackbelt, I’m ready to share my jiu-jitsu knowledge and experience to enhance the lives of others.
